Amaravati is in Guntur District, Andhra Pradesh state , India. Amaravati is the capital of satavahana's and kakateeya dinasty. It became a center of buddhist teachings when the stupa was built in the town. Dalailama came here twice. Kalachakra 2006 was conducted here. Krishna river banks are now watched by Dhyana Buddha.

Dhyana Buddha
Dhyana Buddha under construction on the banks of River Krishna . Amaravati .
Of all the places in the village this is the most spectacular.
Standing there one would truly get a sense of understanding SELF.
Religious or non religious, you may be, you will find
the essence of BUDDHA (Enlightened One) .
